  • Air supply for PCP guns. Tank vs compressor - Snipers Hide
Since there seems to be quite a few others who shoot pcp rifles, what do you use for air ? I have been using a hand pump for years, but have a new rifle coming with higher consumption and want to up my game What are you guys running ?
  • 1,000 Yard Upstate South Carolina Range-WOW! - Snipers Hide
That sounds very interesting Upstate SC is definitely within driving range for me By all means, please do add the specifics for this range (name, location, contact info, web site, etc ) to the Ranges Longer than 500 yards thread in this same ELR - Beyond 1000 Yards section That way we might actually benefit from your information Thanks
  • Rocksett vs Loctite | Snipers Hide Forum
The guns are my MCX virtus rifle in 5 56 and my 9mm SP5k I want to be able to remove the muzzle brake relatively easily later on and am concerned with having to use water (especially on my SP5k with all steel construction and parts I don’t feel I can easily get to such as charging tube) to have to remove the brakes
  • Which 50BMG? | Snipers Hide Forum
No one near me shoots stuff this large so no real opportunity to try any of these guns out Glass will be either a ZCO 5-27x56 or NF ATACR 7-35x56 Um to be clear, the M82A1 was built as an anti-material rifle, not quite a "precision" weapon They aren't expected to be precision rifles the same way Cadex, Desert Tech, or Accuracy
  • New Varmint Build | Snipers Hide Forum
I recently acquired hunting rights on 3 new properties near me for coyotes and varmint control 2 of the 3 the owners don't want me using ARs because they are afraid I will accidentally shoot their cattle
  • Confirmed use of mini guns by CJNG?? | Snipers Hide Forum
Not a military expert by any means, after watching videos from real-time events in Ukraine is the mini-gun as a big a threat today as it was 25 years ago? Seems every time a drone observers a target of opportunity cannon fire or similar neutralizes quickly, the eye in the sky is changing the conventional ground forces way of doing business
  • Silas Branch Closing. . . | Snipers Hide Forum
Just saw a post from Big Ivy Guns that they're closing the Silas Branch Range If you've ever been there, you know how awesome the Silas experience is 1000+ yards mountain top to mountain top STEEP angles of fire The place is beyond amazing for so many reasons Incredibly unique Sad
  • Volquartsen Summit | Snipers Hide Forum
Hi All, sorry if this has already been discussed I recently started eye balling the Volquartsen Summit at my local shop and it looks like a pretty nifty 22 but I was wondering for the price point is it really worth it? I don’t know anyone that owns one nor did my local gun shop have much
  • Old Glory Safe vs. Iron Works | Snipers Hide Forum
The video reviews I watched had some valid points about easy to move, easy to place near bed or other preferred location and good to keep children or general house guess from accessing your firearms If anyone has experience with the Secure it or similar cabinets, can you get a couple scoped long rifles in it? I have a couple AIs with 27
  • Suppressors - plan B + Cherry bomb | Snipers Hide Forum
Threads are damn near idiot proof The bolt gun was never going to be shot without the suppressor, so using a muzzle device like the cherry bomb was a non-issue Didn't want to put expensive muzzle brakes on the ar15's (Area 419), and wasn't going to always shoot those suppressed, so cherry bombs seemed like a half decent choice
